About Yaron Shvets, DDS
Dr. Shvets earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at New York University College of Dentistry after completing his bachelors degree in Chemistry at Brooklyn College in New York. While obtaining his doctorate, he was accepted to New York University’s highly regarded honors program in Aesthetics. He then completed his General Practice Residency at Coney Island Hospital in New York City. Dr. Shvets is a participating member at the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Texas Dental Association, Texas Academy of General Dentistry, and the Capital Area Dental Society. Dr. Shvets performs all types of dental procedures, while taking into account the unique oral health needs of every patient. He sees patient education as a powerful tool in partnering with his patients to improve their health outcomes and help them make better choices related to their oral health. His patients’ comfort is of utmost importance to Dr. Shvets, and his drive to keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry allow him to provide his patients with the best quality of care. Dr. Yaron Shvets was born in Central Asia and has also lived in Israel and New York City. He recently moved to Austin, attracted by the city’s friendly vibe and warm weather. When not at the office, Dr. Shvets loves exploring Austin with his wife and two children, running, fixing things, and playing chess with his son.
