About Thomas G. Faiver, DDS
I have been in practice for over 30 years. Born and raised in Lansing I feel strong connection to my patients and the area. After graduating from Lansing Catholic High School I received my BS in Biology from the University of Notre Dame. Following my undergraduate education I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit, and have been in private practice ever since. I have taken more than 1000 hours of continuing education, and am extremely proud of my Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). The AGD is a fantastic national organization founded to promote excellence in coninuing dental education, and advocacy for our profession. Maintaining membership requires far more continuing education hours than the bare minimum needed to maintain a dental license in Michigan. Achieving Fellowship required over 500 hours in specific disciplines, and the passing of a rigorous examination. My philosophy, and that of my staff, has always been to care for my patients like family and friends. Indeed our office has always maintained very much a family atmosphere. I have a loving wife, and four great kids. At this writing, the children are all in college or graduate programs. I have been blessed in so many ways throughout my life. I have a wonderful family, a fulfilling and ""really cool"" career in Dentistry. I love what I do and I love my patients.
