About Shaun Lavallee, DMD
Dr. Shaun Lavallee grew up in central Massachusetts. Following high school he pursued a degree in Biology at Boston University. From there Dr. Lavallee pursued his doctorate in dentistry from the University of Pennsylvania in May of 2013. Following graduation to better prepare for such an evolving profession, he decided to pursue a year of further training in general dentistry at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Wilkes-Barre PA. Even in leaving academia and pursuing a career in private practice, Dr. Lavallee continually furthers his knowledge of the profession through participation in multiple continuing education ventures. Through involvement in the United States Dental Institute, he has been able to gain a better understanding of orthodontic treatment methods and how patient’s overall health can benefit. Other academic activities include involvement in the American Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association. Dr. Lavallee believes in patient – centered care. He is here to listen to patient’s concerns, answer all relevant questions, and provide professional, honest recommendations tailored specifically to an individual patient’s goals and desires. Dr. “Shaun” is beyond excited to be back in the Philadelphia area and looks forward to not only be serving the dental needs of patients in Port Richmond and surrounding neighborhoods, but also becoming a supportive member of the community as a whole. In his spare time, Shaun enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife Lauren and their children, Logan and Flynn.
