About Sanjie Jackson, DMD
Dr. Sanjie Jackson grew up here in Dunedin Florida. However she was born on a small tropical island in the Caribbean called Dominica. A fun fact about Dominica, the Nature Island, is that it has 365 rivers. When she was eight years old her family moved to Saint Thomas U.S. VI.. and then at the age of 12 Dr. Jackson and her family moved to Dunedin Florida. She attended Dunedin Highland Middle School as well as Dunedin High School where she was heavily involved in Show Choir, Chamber Choir, Madrigals, and Drama (thespian troop 2177). Upon completing high school, Dr. Jackson attended the University of Central Florida where she majored in Microbiology and Molecular biology. She also held a part-time job singing at the Macaroni Grill. She then went on to the University of Florida College of Dentistry where she received her DMD degree. It was here that she won the title of 2004 Gator Idol. In her personal time Dr. Jackson enjoy spending time with her family and friends, church activities and relaxing on the beach. Dr. Jackson also enjoys gator football games. Go Gators! Besides dentistry Dr. Jacksons passion is missionary work and has traveled to the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Swaziland following this passion. Dr. JACKSON also does local missions work here in the Tampa Bay area as well. Dr. Jackson’s practice philosophy is to help restore and maintain good oral health for all her patients by providing excellent dental care. She does this by being involved in her local dental study club. It is important to her that patients are as comfortable as possible while receiving personal dental care.
