About Sameer Kashyap, DMD
Dr. Sameer Kashyap grew up in the South Charlotte area and received his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then went on to receive his DMD from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. After dental school, Dr. Kashyap completed a 1-year advanced general dentistry residency through Lutheran Medical Center in Arizona. Once he moved back to Charlotte, Dr. Kashyap became active in the community, volunteering at several free dental clinics with organizations such as the NCDFS Missions of Mercy. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the North Carolina Dental Society. Dr. Kashyap is a strong believer that good oral health can lead to better overall health and self-confidence. He feels lucky to be able to play a part in his patients’ journey to achieve and maintain healthy, beautiful smiles. Dr. Kashyap is passionate about not only treating but also educating his patients so that they are comfortable and confident with their treatment. Dr. Kashyap is also dedicates himself to furthering his own dental education. He strives to stay up to date with new techniques and technology that can improve his patients’ experience. Dr. Kashyap practices all aspects of general dentistry, but is particularly interested in dental implants, sleep apnea appliances, and InvisAlign orthodontic treatment. In his spare time, Dr. Kashyap enjoys spending time with his wife and puppy. His hobbies include traveling, cooking, cheering on the Tar Heels and Carolina Panthers, and spending as much time outdoors as possible!
