About Robert M. Scarazzo, DMD
Dr. Scarazzo is a graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry. His undergraduate work was done at the University of California at Davis. While at Temple, Dr. Scarazzo finished his clinical requirements a year early allowing him to dedicate his senior year to refining his skills. Upon graduating he had double the required clinical credits and was the recipient of the Joseph Ewing Award for excellence in Fixed Prosthetics. He has completed over 1300 hours of continuing education. After graduating, Dr. Scarazzo immediately went into private practice in Warminster, PA. Five years later he opened his Doylestown PA practice and eventually merged both offices into the Doylestown location. Dr. Scarazzo is a member of several professional associations including the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, the Montgomery Bucks Dental Association, the Joseph Ewing Study Group, the Eckert Study Group, and the Suburban Study Group. He is also a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology. He does volunteer work for the Donated Dental Program of Pennsylvania and the Ann Silverman Community Health Clinic at Doylestown Hospital. In July of 2017 Dr. Scarazzo was awarded the prestigious Mastership distinction from the Academy of General Dentistry. This requires a minimum of 1,100 hours of Continuing Education and prior passage of the extensive F.A.G.D. written exam. This distinction is held by less than 1% of all Dentists. Although Dr. Scarazzo is a General Dentist his true passion lies in complex multidisciplinary cases with an emphasis on full mouth reconstruction where health function and optimum esthetics are the final goal. Dr. Scarazzo began doing Bioclear Matrix in 2013 and is Level IIl Certified. He has completed all Bioclear Matrix classes. Dr. Scarazzo and his wife Anne reside in Doylestown PA. His interests include outdoor activities, especially hiking, back country skiing and mountain biking.
