About Robert S. Murav, DDS
Dr. Murav utilizes his extensive training and experience to treat even the most challenging dental situations. He has been delivering cosmetic, implant and functional solutions to patients for over 25 years. His commitment to “doing it right” and ability to “handle just about anything” has won him the admiration of patients and other doctors. A big bonus is that Dr. Murav uses his expertise to prevent big problems from ever happening. Dr. Murav graduated from the University Of Detroit School Of Dentistry in 1987. He received the Quintessence Award in recognition of clinically achievement and University of Detroit Department of General Dentistry award for Excellence in Clinically General Dentistry. While at dental school he participation in Senior Expanded Clinical Experience Program. A program for dental students to learn more advance dental procedures. He has been helping patients so they can enjoy eating and smiling again with dental implants since 2006. He has special methods of implant dentistry to “rescue” the denture patient and those with debilitated teeth needing complete reconstructions. This combined with advanced techniques allow even the most compromised individual to return to a life of enjoying dental health. For their patient’s benefit, advanced learning and the implementation of new technologies at the leading edge of dentistry is a constant for Dr. Murav and his office of professionals. The friendly team is known for their down to earth and non-technical communication style making complex dentistry easy to understand. Dr. Murav graduated from the University Of Detroit School Of Dentistry in 1987. He spent a year and a half in a training program with many dentists in the Detroit area. He takes 2-3 times the required continue education that is required from the State of Michigan. He is a member of the American Dental Association, The Michigan Dental Association, The Chicago Dental Society, and The Kalamazoo Valley District Dental Society. Dr. Murav has taught other dentist’s about one appointment crowns, root canal therapy, intra-oral cameras, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Murav was born and raised in the Detroit area. Dr. Murav is married to his wife Thelma. They have three daughters Samantha, Carli, and Allie. All three children are lving on their own; Samantha lives in North West Indiana, Carli lives in Chicago, and Allie lives in Florida. Dr. Murav and his wife enjoy visiting their children, bowling, traveling, and working around the house and outdoor activity. Dr. Murav and his family have lived on Eagle Lake (Paw Paw) for about 25 years and enjoys fishing, swimming, and boating on the lake.
