About Reginald B. Jewell, DDS
Dr. Reginald Jewell, a native Detroiter, is a proud graduate of The University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. Dr. Jewell’s practice is located in northwest Detroit and has a special focus on sports dentistry. Over the years Dr. Jewell has attended numerous sports medicine seminars and holds several certifications in sports dentistry. His experience includes providing preventive sports dental care for amateur and professional athletes. Although reconstruction is a major part of Dr Jewell’s line of work, he believes prevention is the best remedy. He believes that routine dental care for any athlete should include construction of a properly fitted mouth guard to prevent injuries. Dr. Jewell is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, The Academy of Implant Dentistry and The Academy for Sports Dentistry. Dr Jewell is married with two children. In his spare time he enjoys coaching his daughters’ soccer teams.
