About Melissa Stewart, DDS
Dr. Melissa Stewart grew up in Charlotte, NC and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Biology and Chemistry. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. She was a member of Gorgas Odontological Honorary Society which highlighted her scholastic achievement. She was also a part of the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society for her clinical achievements. Growing up with a father as a dentist, Dr. Stewart was inspired to provide the best dental care to patients in a comfortable and warm environment. She is devoted to dentistry and is dedicated to continuing her education to stay up to date on the latest trends in dentistry. Dr. Stewart is a member of the ADA, Academy of General Dentistry, the North Carolina Dental Society and multiple study clubs in Charlotte. When Dr. Stewart is not working, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and outside running with her dog.
