About Mehul C. Patel, DDS
Dr. Patel received his undergraduate degree in biology and physiology from Michigan State University then attented the University of Michigan Dental School and received an award for outstanding excellence in patient care. Since his graduation he has been training with some of the leading professionals in his field including extensive training in comestic, restorative and diagnosing and treating advanced problems.He takes more than twice the required continuing education required to maintain licensure. Dr. Patel also sits on the Michigan Dental Association board of membership and participates in several charitable dental organizations. His goal is to provide the latest and most advanced procedures using modern materials and the most current technology. Recently, he is an Adjunct Clinical Professor at University of Michigan. About Dentistry, I absolutely love being a dentist. The greatest challenge is taking a patient who is afraid and apprehensive and making them comfortable. Today's technology allows our patients to have the smile they have always dreamed of without the pain. Dr. Patel enjoys sports, reading, and scuba diving and being with his family. He also is involved in non-profit dental organizations, including ""Christina's smile"" which provides free dental care for underprivileged children.
