About Matthew Horne, DDS
Dr. Horne is a graduate of Louisiana State University, where he also received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He was one of the very few who received the prestigious Navy Health Professional scholarship through dental school. Dr. Horne then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in San Diego, CA. After serving as a dentist in the Navy for four years, and traveling the world, Dr. Horne made Austin his home. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Capital Area Dental Society, California Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Horne is also a member of the Seattle Study Club, and is a Mentor of the Kois Center, featuring John Kois, arguably the most influential dentist of our time. Dr. Horne is also a graduate of the Ickert Implant Teaching Center in Vancouver British Colombia. Dr. Horne chose dentistry to not only help people stay healthy, but to directly have a positive impact on their lives. When not at the office, you can find Dr. Horne and his wife Ashley enjoying just about anything outside with their two boys, Brayden and Logan, and their daughter Hadley. Dr. Horne and his wife are also active members of Lake Hills Church and the Austin community.
