About Kenneth E. Stoner, DDS
A native of Virginia, Dr. Ken Stoner received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his D.D.S. from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, where he was a part-time professor at the dental school for fifteen years. He has lectured extensively on numerous dental topics and has been published in the prestigious Journal of the American Dental Association. Dr. Stoner is a member of the Richmond Dental Association, the Virginia State Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and past president of the Dominion Dental Study Club. Dr. Stoner's special interest and study for the past 25 years has been in the area of cosmetic dental services. Dr. Stoner has donated considerable time and energy to worthy causes around the world. Guatemala, Peru, Kenya, Honduras - these are all places where Dr. Stoner has traveled numerous times for mission trips to serve some of the poorest peoples on our planet. He also supports several charity and non-profit organizations including the Alzheimer's Association, Heart Association, National Public Radio(NPR), and Vessels of Mercy International. These are just some of the many ways that Dr. Stoner continues to play a strong role in taking care of the local and global community, as well as his patients in his office. It's that compassion for life and that commitment to helping people live life well that drives him and his causes. Dr. Stoner lives with his wife, Heather and a very cute white Westie dog. Daughter Hunter is at the University of Richmond, Daughter Lauren lives in Miami and Daughter Jeni lives with her husband John and two sons in Bon Air. When not practicing dentistry Dr. Stoner enjoys water and snow skiing, golf and playing with his grandsons.
