About Jon Oefinger, DDS

As the son of an orthodontist, Dr. Oefinger grew up in San Antonio and attended Clark High School. After graduating from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, he graduated Cum Laude from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School, previously ranked as the number one dental school in the nation. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Oefinger completed 1 year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. This program provided additional training in comprehensive dentistry, and afforded him the opportunity to treat more complex cases. Dr. Oefinger has been practicing in San Antonio for 10 years and has been in his current location for 8 years. Since he began practicing dentistry, Dr. Oefinger has kept up to date on current technology and advancements in the field through continuing education classes and study groups. He continually updates his practice with the latest technology, ensuring that his patients receive the most comfortable, comprehensive, and advanced dental care. Dr. Oefinger lives in San Antonio with his wife Amy and three children Elizabeth, Jake, and Caroline. When not practicing dentistry he enjoys spending time with his family, running, and volunteering his time for various charitable dental organizations.
