About John Kenzie, DDS
Dr. John Kenzie earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1977. Graduating near the top of his class, he was awarded the Certificate of Merit from the American Association of Endodontists. In 1998, Dr. Kenzie earned a Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. John Kenzie has attended numerous post graduate continuums including The Center for Advanced Dental Study under Dr. Peter Dawson and the Misch Implant Institute. Focusing on advanced cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry, he has over ten years of experience with CAD-CAM (Cerec) dental technology, as well as several years utilizing Waterlase MD. As a former owner of dental offices in Algonac and Marysville, MI, Dr. John Kenzie has served as the past president of the Thumb District Dental Society and St. Peter’s Church in St Clair. He and his wife of 35 years, Elaine, have two children— Jessica, a landscape architect, and Jeff, a geological engineer. Dr. Kenzie is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hunting with his dog, Bruno, all types of fishing, biking, skiing, boating, golf, tennis, and reading.
