About John E. Costello, DDS
Dr. John E. Costello, arrived in Arlington Heights from Chicago with his family in 1949. He attended Loyola University for undergraduate as well as Dental School. Dr. John completed a postgraduate internship with the Veterans Administration upon graduation and then joined the faculty of Loyola’s Dental School as a clinical instructor for 3 years. Dr. John is a graduate of the Loyola University School of Dentistry. In his continuing education, Dr. Costello has completed courses in Anesthesia and Pain Control, Implant Restoration, Modern Endodontic Techniques, and Aesthetic Dentistry. In addition he completed a mini-residency at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in Temporomandibular Dysfunction and Orofacial Pain, and was an attendee at the American Academy of Cranio-Facial Pain’s 18th International Symposium. In more recent years, he has continued to pursue the integration of implant dentistry into his practice by providing diagnostic treatment planning and follow-up restoration of all implant procedures. Dr. Costello raised his family of 4 children within walking distance of our present office. Along with dentistry his passions are baseball, fishing, traveling and continually learning.
