About Jagat N. Patel, DDS
Dr. Jagat Patel attended Government Dental College in Ahmedabad, India and then furthered his studies at the University of Detroit Mercy, where he completed the International Dental Doctoral program. He came back to Connecticut in 1990 and began working in private practice in the Danbury area. After working for a private practice, he opened up his own in 1991. He has been serving the Greater Danbury area ever since and has many long-term patients. Dr. Patel loves to give back and serve the community. He founded the Indian Association of Western Connecticut and served as its President from 2008 to 2010. He is still involved in community events. During the 2004 Tsunami, Dr. Patel started a relief fundraiser that raised over $50,000 for aid to the Tsunami victims. Dr. Patel was recognized by the City Council of Danbury for his service during this crisis.
