About Hooman Samani, DDS
Dr. Samani was born in Detroit, Michigan. He received his Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, and went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Samani completed his General Practice Residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. During this year-long residency program, he sharpened his skills and knowledge in a variety of advanced procedures, including surgical placement of dental implants, bone grafting, and wisdom teeth removal. He is a candidate to become a fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) and continues to develop his expertise in implant-supported full mouth rehabilitation. He believes having a comprehensive knowledge of all facets of dentistry is paramount to providing his patients with exceptional, holistic and compassionate dental care. When he is away from the office, Dr. Samani enjoys spending time with his wife, Amitis, and their three beautiful boys. In his rare free time, he enjoys 3D model design and playing basketball at lifetime fitness.
