About Hasanain Alani, DDS
Dr. Hasanain Alani graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology, then from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S). Dr. Alani then completed a General Practice Residency program at John D. Dingell VA Medical Center (Detroit, MI) where he focused on delivering care to the veteran's community. The patient family Dr. Alani treated was medically complex and that put his knowledge in general and oral medicine into use and trained him to manage medical emergencies. During his training, Dr. Alani used the latest technologies to provide quality care in Endodontics, Oral Surgery, Implant placement and restoration, prosthodontics, periodontics, and restorative dentistry. Dr. Alani served in the National Leadership of the Council of Students, Residents & Fellows at the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) as well as a member of the House of Delegates. His affiliation with ADEA included attending several national meetings and presenting his own research projects. During that time, Dr. Alani completed the Academic Dental Careers Fellowship Program (ADCFP) through fulfilling research requirements and active mentoring for faculty. Dr. Alani provides patient-centered care that is respectful of, and responsive to, individual patient preferences, needs and values, and ensuring that patient values guide all clinical decisions. Following his philosophy of care, Dr. Alani will present you with a treatment plan that will be thoroughly explained and discussed with providing alternatives if available. When not hard at work practicing dentistry, he enjoys traveling, reading, fishing, sports and like everyone else… Netflix and chill!
