About Harman Sohal, DDS
Dr. Harman Sohal’s friendly and professional manner will help ease any concerns or nervousness that you may have. She is very compassionate and provides a very comfortable dental experience. She was awarded the title of salutatorian of her High School class in Carteret, New Jersey as well as many other accolades such as Ronald McDonald Scholar of the Year. She completed her undergraduate studies at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. There, she majored in Business and Technology with a concentration in biotechnology while staying on the Presidential Track. She traveled to various orphanages in Nicaragua as a volunteer and gave back to those in need. She was awarded the title of salutatorian of her High School class in Carteret New Jersey, as well as many other accolades such as Ronald McDonald Scholar of the Year. She completed her undergraduate studies at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. Dr. Sohal has wide exposure to various fields in the profession including treatment for porcelain veneers, dental implants, crowns, bondings, bridges, root canals, Invisalign, extractions and emergency care. After she obtained her dental degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, she went on to complete a General Practice Residency at Hackensack University Medical Center focusing on general and cosmetic dentistry. During her residency, she became very interested in implant technology and participated in a rigorous one-year implant training program and is on track to become a fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Sohal has been mentored and learned from respected individuals and continues to expand her knowledge to stay on the cutting-edge of technology. She has recently invested time in learning digital dentistry through applications such as CEREC and iTERO. Dr. Sohal is married and excited about starting a little family of her own.
