About George A. Oley, DDS
George A. Oley, III is the fourth of seven children of George and Rose Oley, Richmond natives, who owned and operated a restaurant. Dr. Oley was educated at St. Benedict’s parochial school, Thomas Jefferson High School, University of Richmond; he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Virginia Tech in 1975 and A Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Medical College of Virginia in 1979. Dr. Oley founded this practice in 1979, nearly 40 years ago. In 1995 he built the building in which the practice is now located. Dr. Oley is a member of the Richmond Dental Society, the Virginia Dental Society, and the American Dental Association. He is a member of St. Anthony’s Church, St. Charbel, and is a member of the Caldwell Society ut prosum. He is in the Hokie Club and MCV alumni association. Dr. Oley does pro bono work for Little Sisters of the Poor and the New River Dental Clinic. Dr. Oley has been married to his wife Siham for 40 years. They have two children, Dr. Reba Oley Boykin and George Anothony Oley IV. Dr Reba Oley works alongside her dad and George is a third year dental student who will join the practice in 2020. His major interests include the five ""F's"": family, faith, friends, football and food. His hobbies include reading non-ficition, the Civil War, cooking and eating. Dr. Oley wanted his friends to know he was invited to be in the ""Who's Who"" of general dentists, but declined.
