About Gary Edeer, DMD
Dr. Gary Edeer has provided innovative, high-quality dental care to Wayne area patients. His approach to dentistry is a mix of artistry and engineering, blending both creativity and science to provide exceptional results. Dr. Edeer is passionate about using new technology to improve the comfort and quality of dental treatments. His team has created a state-of-the-art practice that is welcoming, immaculate and comfortable for the whole family. Originally from Turkey, Dr. Edeer holds two dental degrees. One from the Aegean University School of Dental Medicine and a second dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania where he served as an instructor after graduation. While attending dental school, Dr. Edeer also worked as a lab technician. His background gives him the ability to prepare most of his lab casework in his office to meet his high standards. Staying current with the latest in dental advancements is at the to of Dr. Edeers priorities. He continually seeks out the best techniques, materials and dental laboratories to provide his patients with the finest dentistry available. In 2010, Dr. Edeer was awarded the prestigious title of Master with the American Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD). Dr. Edeer is committed to lifelong learning to keep up to date with the new technologies and techniques that can help achieve better results for his patients. Continuing education courses that Dr. Edeer has graduated from include the Nash Dental Learning’s Cosmetic Dentistry Course and New York University Brookdale Hospital’s Implant Maxi Course. Most recently, Dr. Edeer has completed a two-year Progressive Orthodontics course because Dr. Edeer strongly believes in the benefits of orthodontic correction to create and restore a patient’s bite to ideal function. In addition, advanced training allows Dr. Edeer to properly diagnose and evaluate risk factors and health conditions related to the mouth and how they affect the rest of the body. He sees the correlation of good oral health and overall health, a cornerstone of his practice.
