About Frank Straus, DDS
Dr. Frank Straus grew up in the fan area of Richmond and attended Thomas Jefferson High School. After graduating from Virginia Tech, Dr. Straus attended the Medical College of Va. School of Dentistry. Upon receiving his DDS degree, Dr. Straus did a hospital residency program at the University of Michigan. In 1985, Dr. Straus opened his practice on Gayton Rd. Dr. Straus has served as a part time clinical instructor at the Medical College of Virginia. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Richmond Dental Society and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Dr. Straus received his Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry in 1996. He enjoys biking,sking, Tai Chi, reading and spending time with his wife Carol and his children Jessica, Stephen, Christopher and Sam.
