About Edward J. Dooley, DMD
Edward J. Dooley was raised in Spring Lake, New Jersey. After attending the College of the Holy Cross for his undergraduate degree, he continued his education at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Dental Medicine to achieve his Doctor of Dental Medicine. Dr. Dooley then went on to serve his country after graduation by working as a Dental Officer in the Navy from 1982 to 1985. After working as an associate dentist in private practice, Dr. Dooley opened his own private practice in 1986 where he has continued caring for patients. Dr. Dooley has a commitment to providing his patients with excellence in dental care. He is a member of many dental organizations including the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, Monmouth Ocean Dental Society, International Association for Orthodontics, the Academy of General Dentistry, a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral lmplantologists, and member of the World Clinical Laser Institute. Dr. Dooley has remained an active learner throughout his professional career by attending many continuing education seminars totaling more than 1500 credit hours. He has received certification in several dental techniques, including soft tissue laser, DURAthin laminate veneers, Lumineers, Straightwire Comprehensive orthodontics and Powerprox 6 month adult orthodontics. In 2016, Dr. Dooley became a Fellow of the International Congress for Oral Implantologists (ICOI). Dr. Dooley is passionate about serving people's needs. He enjoys providing the highest level of care for those seeking treatment, and is an active member of Donated Dental Services of New Jersey. He likes the satisfaction that stems from doing his best and sharing his skills with others. When he's not at the office, Dr. Dooley enjoys spending time with his wife Sue. Married in 1982, they have two children, Michaella and Brendan. Michaella is a managing executive at M.M. LaFleur and is married to Douglas Kurdziel. Brendan is a 2013 graduate of Gettysburg College. He is pursuing a career in Hospital Administration and is currently working for Memorial Sloan Kettering in Manhattan. Dr. Dooley also enjoys playing golf, travelling, photography, surfing and cooking.
