About Dennis P. Goehring, DDS
Dr. Goehring graduated from Ohio State University in 1992 and then was selected for a 2 year post graduate residency program at the University of Texas Health Science Center, in San Antonio. Nevertheless, the GPR program is divided into two programs; the first being Advanced Education in General Dentistry and the second was General Practice Residency (Hospital Dentistry and Sedation Dentistry). Additionally, these programs were the best of their kind but the wealth of knowledge gained has and continually assists Dr. Goehring every day in his practice and in serving his patients. In addition to this passion for advanced dentistry, Dr. Goehring also has a passion for implant placement. Furthermore, he has also graduated from the Misch International Implant Institute (Temple University in Philadelphia) in both the Surgical and Prosthetic Implant Course Curriculum. To explain, this is the most comprehensive Dental Implant institute, and is taught by the best implant educator in the world. Additionally, Dr. Goehring continually updates his courses to ensure that his practice is on the cutting edge of sound, scientifically based implant dentistry. In like manner he also served as the President of the Data Base Study Club for 10 years. Similarly, it is comprised of a very dedicated group of individuals who reviewed research articles in all topics of Dentistry. Furthermore, Dr. Goehring is also a member of numerous local and national organizations related to Dentistry and Medicine. Dr. Goehring is an avid motocross rider, he also loves surfing at the lake, and the ocean, as well as snowboarding. He also states, “I like to work hard and play hard”. Furthermore, his daughters both attend college and his son is a Junior in highschool. Nevertheless, he also loves the Live Music scene in Austin, especially on the local level. Dr. Goehring has 3 wonderful children Leah, Alexa and Ian.
