About David C. Cunningham, DDS
Dr. Cunningham studied at Texas A&M University before pursuing his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Texas School of Dentistry. Today, he has been working in this field for over 35 years now and looks forward to many more. He continues to pursue advanced post-graduate education whenever possible to enhance his skillset, including courses in TMJ therapy and snoring and sleep apnea treatment.Dr. Cunningham feels blessed by the authentic relationships that have developed between himself and his family of patients throughout the course of the practice. The satisfaction that occurs when it becomes apparent that we have truly impacted the quality of our patients’ lives by improving their oral health is an amazing feeling. He also is proud to be able to practice in a great profession that allows him to utilize his abilities in both art and science. Dr. Cunningham is from Houston, and he’s been married 38 years to his wife and best friend Karen. Together, they have two wonderful and loving daughters who are married, as well as one grandson with another one on the way soon. Outside of work, he enjoys snow skiing, hiking, mountain biking, listening to music, and spending time with his family, whether they’re traveling or just hanging out. His secret desire is to be selected as the Team Dentist for Houston’s future National Hockey League team!
