About Alan Schauer, DDS
Dr. Alan Schauer grew up in Houston, Texas, and has made Austin his home for over 25 years. Dr. Schauer completed his undergraduate studies at Texas Tech University, where he graduated with honors in Chemistry. He then went on to attend the University of Texas, College of Dentistry, where he earned his DDS degree. Dr. Schauer is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Texas Dental Association (TDA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Tenth District Dental Society, and a General Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and Crown Council. Dr. Schauer is married and he and his wife, Regina, have one son, Trevor, and twin daughters, Amy and Sarah. Dr. Schauer's hobbies include spending time with his family, playing tennis, attending college football, baseball, and basketball games, playing the piano, gardening, and traveling.
