About Adam Travan, DDS
Dr. Travan is best known for his love of dentistry. This shows in his enthusiasm, thoroughness, and gentle touch. He attended Iona College on a full 4 year academic scholarship. He was accepted a year early at New York University's College of Dentistry after his junior year at Iona College. He completed a General Practice Residency at Newark Beth Israel where he was selected as Chief Resident, one of the youngest in program history. While at NYU he became interested in teaching as a way of sharing his passion for learning and dentistry. He became a member of the honors teaching program and after graduation became an instructor in the department of comprehensive care and cariology teaching 1st and 2nd year dental students clinical skills. Having practiced oral and dental healthcare since 2004, Dr. Travan prides himself on having a light touch, providing healthy and beautiful smiles and continuously pursuing advanced clinical education for the benefit of his patients.
