About Zach Korwin, DMD
Dr. Korwin is a most compassionate and personable individual with exceptional clinical skills. He is a 2014 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, which is ranked consistently as one of the top dental schools in the country. After completing his degree, Dr. Korwin worked in many unique dental centers, including his father’s boutique dental office in Red Bank, New Jersey. He has served as a Clinical Associate Professor at both the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University, and he has provided hours of pro bono dental services to underprivileged patients through the Dental Lifeline network. Dr. Korwin has attended many continuing dental education courses which have helped him excel in the specialty disciplines of dental implants, endodontics (root canal therapy) and oral surgery. He is a currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association, and the Hartford Dental Society. After growing up amidst his father’s successful dental practice in New Jersey, Dr. Korwin decided to follow in his father’s footsteps by becoming a dentist. Dr. Korwin has settled in central Connecticut with his wife Amy, who is a pulmonology Fellow at Yale University School of Medicine, their daughter Emily, and dog Chooie.
