About Winah B. Gallagher, DMD
Dr. Winah Gallagher has been a dentist for more than 30 years. She received her first doctor of dentistry degree at Trisakti University School of Dentistry in Jakarta, Indonesia. She then received a 2nd doctor of dental medicine degree (D.M.D.) from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1996. Dr. Gallagher has previously been a professor of dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dedicated to lifelong continuing education, she devotes numerous hours at various courses and seminars, much more than what is required by the Academy of General Dentistry. Some of Dr. Gallagher’s coursework includes advanced training and knowledge in dental implants, periodontal care, and treatment for sleep apnea. She is known for being gentle and caring while providing quality treatment for all her patients. Dr. Gallagher was born and raised in Indonesia. She came to the United States and settled in the Philadelphia area in 1990. She has lived in the area with her late husband, a U.S. army veteran, for over 25 years. She is a mother, grandmother, and an active supporter of several charitable organizations. Dr. Gallagher believes that as a dentist and a business owner, it is part of her responsibility to not only help patients become healthy and happy, but also to create a better world for current and future generations.
