About Veronica Szabo, DMD
Dr. Veronica Szabo joined Dental Health Care Associates in 2015. She is a caring and conscientious dentist committed to making dentistry easy and comfortable for patients of all ages. Prior to joining the office full time, Dr. Szabo worked in pediatric dentistry where she developed the skills to support even the youngest of patients. To serve her patients with the highest level of care, Dr. Szabo attends numerous continuing education and advanced training courses each year. She is a certified Invisalign provider and has completed Aesthetic Advantage coursework at the prestigious Rosenthal Institute at NYU. She grew up in Ellicott City, Maryland, and later moved to Philadelphia to attend Drexel University. After earning a Business degree, it was her career in marketing and advertising that led to a role in the dental field by helping dentists utilize new products and technology. Working alongside patients and seeing how a new smile could change a life was the motivation that led Dr. Szabo to become a dentist. Dr. Szabo graduated from Temple University’s Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry where she received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) and was recognized by the Philadelphia County Dental Society for her dedication to the field. In the Spring of 2015, she completed a dental externship with the Indian Health Services, travelling to Minnesota’s Cass Lake Reservation to study early childhood caries and early intervention for high-risk populations. Currently, Dr. Szabo lives in Philadelphia with her husband, Jeff, one medium-sized dog named Rico, goldfish and nearly a dozen different musical instrument.
