About Uzma Hasheem, DMD
At Shaenfield Family Dentistry, we are led by Dr. Uzma Hasheem, an experienced and compassionate dentist dedicated to her patients. As a student, she was naturally drawn to the sciences and art. Her parents urged her to go into a career that helped people, and during a career fair, she learned more about how dentistry can combine that with her love of art and science. From there, she never looked back – Dr. Hasheem loves working one-on-one with people and helping improve both their health and their confidence. She says that it was the best decision she ever made! Dr. Hasheem has received her DMD degree at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Additionally, this is where Dr. Hasheem did her implant fellowship as well. She believes in helping the less fortunate and loves to give back to our community, such as her work volunteering at Brighterway Dental clinic in Phoenix, Arizona where she placed Implants for the homeless, veterans and working poor. Dr. Hasheem is passionate about continuing to learn and staying up to date with the latest advancements in techniques and technology. She even attends courses in her free time to ensure that she is on the cutting edge of any new possibilities to bring back to her patients. She is constantly working to bring in treatments or techniques that can help patients to reduce chair time and anxiety.
