About Timothy P. Vanitvelt, DDS
Dr. Vanitvelt was born in Flint and graduated from Powers Catholic High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Southern California and attended Dental School at the University of Detroit, graduating in 1997. After a two-year associateship in Milford, Michigan, he returned home to Flint to practice in the office he grew up in as a patient and to partner with Dr. Halliday at Villa Linde Dental in 1999. Dr. Vanitvelt grew up in a dental family; his father was a local orthodontist. His sister, Dr. Lori Thomas, also a dentist, joined him and Dr. Halliday in 2002. Dr. Vanitvelt is married and has three children. He is an active board member in the Genesee District Dental Society and a state delegate in the Michigan Dental Association, while also having membership in the American Dental Association.
