About Therese Shortt, DDS
Dr. Therese Shortt graduated with a bachelor of science degree from the University of Michigan and continued on to attend the University of Michigan Dental School, considered the number one dental school in the world, graduating in 1987 with her husband, Bill. She performs all aspects of dentistry including root canals, crown and bridge work, invisalign orthodontics and sleep apnea applicances. Cosmestic cases are her specialty and she enjoys changing an individuals’ confidence and ability to smile! She and her husband log hundreds of continuing education hours improving their techniques and equiptment. The office is state of the art with in office crown milling and 3D Cone beam xrays for complex implant cases. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Academy of Cosmetic Dentists, the International Committee of Implantologists, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Shortt is currently an Adjunct Clinical Instructor at the University of Michigan Dental School and teaches students in the clinic part-time. Therese and Bill live in South Lyon and have three grown children attending college. Therese enjoys playing piano, skiing, biking and running in her spare time.
