About Terry L. Hamblen, DMD
Dr. Terry Hamblen is a lifelong Floridian, growing up in Pensacola, Florida. He successfully completed his undergraduate coursework at the University of Florida, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science with honors. Dr. Hamblen then went on to complete is Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry degree with high honors. Upon graduation, Dr. Hamblen was drafted and proudly served in the United States Public Health Service as a commissioned officer in the United States Coast Guard. It was in the military when Dr. Hamblen first came to Pinellas County, as he provided dental services to members of all branches of the military on the MacDill Air Force Base, before being stationed in North Carolina to complete his tour of duty. Upon receiving his Honorable Discharge from the military, Dr. Hamblen returned to Pinellas County, opening his Largo practice in 1973. Since then, Dr. Hamblen has provided general dentistry services to his patients, while also being an active member of the community. Dr. Hamblen is a member of various social groups in the Tampa Bay area, and in addition to his private practice has volunteered at various local charitable clinics to provide dental services to the indigent.
