About Surya P. Dhakar, DDS
Dr. Dhakar received his DDS from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of dentistry with the distinction of Magna Cum Laude. In addition to being a skilled and experienced dentist, he is a truly compassionate and caring person. He has served as a member of the Virginia Board of Dentistry from 2011 to 2015. Before attending dental school, Dr. Dhakar has also his Ph.D. in Oceanography from Old Dominion University. In his spare time, Dr. Dhakar enjoys gardening, cooking, and flying.
