About Steve Sutherland, DDS
Steve Sutherland feel and important part of being a dentist is keeping up with all of the latest research and techniques. I spend over 100 hours a year on continuing education. I also spend part of my professional time teaching others. I have now served as a dental consultant for over 10 years, committed to raising the level of care in our profession. Let me give you a little background on myself. I was raised right here in the South Bay. I graduated from El Segundo High School in 1988. I went to undergraduate school at the University of California at San Diego. During my time at UCSD I played on the Triton baseball team. I was an economics major at the time when one of my teammates headed off to dental school, sparking my first interest in dentistry. I gained my dental degree at the University of the Pacific in 1996. My life outside of dentistry is focused on my four boys, Cooper, Colby, Riley and Jax. I enjoy sharing my love of sports with the boys. Baseball, basketball and football take up much of our time, but we also love to get away to the river and the snow and carve it up when we can.
