About Stephen M. Krist, DDS
Stephen M. Krist, DDS has been practicing general dentistry in south Tampa for over 30 years. His emphasis is on cosmetic dentistry and advanced restorative dental procedures to solve complex dental problems including missing teeth, worn or broken teeth and crooked teeth. Nearly all of Dr. Krist's patients come by referral either from friends, family members, or from referring dentists. Dr. Krist has built his Tampa dental office on the pillars of integrity and trust and enjoys many patients who have been with him throughout his career. Dr. Krist graduated from Emory University School of Dentistry in 1979. Upon graduation, he took over his uncle's practice which was established in 1953. As a leading restorative and cosmetic dentist, Dr. Krist is dedicated to continuing education and serves as a visiting faculty member of the Dawson Academy, the L.D. Pankey Institute and the University of Florida General Practice Residency Program. Dr. Krist is a member of many professional organizations having served as past president of the Hillsborough County Dental Association, Tampa Bay Academy of General Dentistry and the Florida Academy of Dental Practice Administration. He is a member of the American College of Dentists, International College of Dentists, Pierre Frauchard Academy, American Equilibrium Society and other local and professional organizations.
