About Stephen F. Dewey, DDS
Originally from Okemos, Michigan, Dr. Dewey has always enjoyed traveling to Northern Michigan. His family made Traverse City their permanent home ten years ago, where he enjoys being an active part of our community. His interest in dentistry began while his brother was in dental school at the University of Michigan, where he attended as an undergraduate student. His dental education took place at the University of Detroit-Mercy. Dr. Dewey is an active member of several associations, including the American Dental Association (ADA), Michigan Dental Association (MDA), Resort District Dental Society (RDDS), L.D. Pankey Alumni Association, Michigan Alumni Association and the Michigan Marching Band Alumi Association. Dr. Dewey strongly believes in staying current with new dental research and technology, enabling him to provide the best care possible. Included in his continued education, are extensive studies at the Pankey Institute, and completing courses taught by renowned professors from the Dawson Institute and Kois Institute. Dr. Dewey is excited to share his expertise with you regarding your dental needs. He will take the time to explain different options and assist you in making decisions you are comfortable with. All questions and concerns are always welcome. He is committed to ensuring you will receive the highest quality ethical care that many have experienced for decades in our practice. Personally, Dr. Dewey enjoys spending time with his wife, Lindsay and their son, Jack. He has a love for the outdoors and the Traverse City area. He enjoys boating, fishing, skiing, hiking, kayaking, gardening, and sports. He enjoys playing softball on a Traverse City YMCA team and attends Bay Pointe Community Church with his family.
