About Shrrell L. Byard, DDS
Dr. Byard was born in Riverside, CA. Having a military father, he traveled extensively as a child. He attended Hope college, graduating in 2001 and the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, graduating in 2005. Dr. Byard was then commissioned in the the U.S. Navy where he completed a General Practice Residency at U.S. Naval Hospital in Camp Pendleton, CA, followed by a deployment on aircraft carrier USS Nimitz CVN-68 stationed in San Diego, CA. While in the San Diego area he practiced for 6 years in private and corporate dental offices. In 2012, Dr. Byard moved to Spain in support of his wife's 20 plus years of military service. While overseas he completed his Masters of Healthcare Administration. He has practiced in Western Michigan since 2014 working with the state of Michigan as well as for a nonprofit organization. Dr. Byard lives in West Olive, MI with his wife Jessica and their three children Gabriella, Alexandria, and Brennan, who attend Grand Haven Schools. In his spare time he enjoys traveling and sightseeing with his family.
