About Saverio Deluca, DDS
Dr. Saverio DeLuca feel blessed to have been able to serve the Tri-Valley community for so many years. Each day I have had the privilege of meeting so many awesome members of our community, from fire fighters, military veterans, police officers, hard-working moms and dads, grandparents, teens, and young professionals just starting out. I enjoy helping folks not only maintain their dental health but maintain their overall health and quality of life with healthy gums and teeth and a great grin. I also enjoy letting patients know the possibilities that are out there in aesthetic treatment; some of my most touching moments in this profession have been when our office has been able to provide a visual improvement that the patient had always dreamed of. Many times, patients see themselves for the first time and tears come to their eyes. I truly enjoy the artistry of dentistry and helping people to achieve the smile on the outside that they feel on the inside. The dental profession runs in my family. My father used to be in the dental laboratory business, and I used to be a delivery driver and work in the lab “back in the day.” I have known that I wanted to be a dentist since the second grade and was always drawn to making model airplanes and working with my hands. To fulfill my desire to become a dentist, I first attended the University of the Pacific, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. I continued on to the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, where I received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. After dental school, I was proud to serve my country as a dental officer in the United States Navy, after which I served for many years as a US Navy Reservist. To stay current in the profession and interact with other dentists and specialists in the profession, I regularly continue my education through numerous study groups and professional organizations, one of which is the Spear Study Club. The Spear model emphasizes integrating evidence-based clinical instruction and online learning to raise the standard of patient care.
