About Ryan Wallin, DDS
As an Aesthetic Dentist with more than a decade of experience, Dr. Ryan S. Wallin is the founder of Aesthetic Family Dental Care (AFDC). Dr. Wallin is an Arizona native and loves the lifestyle and outdoor opportunities that living in the sun can offer. Dr. Wallin, dentist in Mesa, practices dentistry based on one primary goal: to provide excellence in dental care. Dr. Wallin graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Biology and a partial minor in Music (despite that fact that he can’t sing). Dr. Wallin completed his Dental Degree in 2000 at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, known for it’s progressive approach to patient care. The “Humanistic Approach” is a way of teaching that each patient is more than just the teeth we treat and that relationships with our patients are key to understanding the needs of individuals. Dr. Wallin spent 2 years serving Cambodian refugees though a church service mission and is proud to be an Eagle Scout. In 2001, Dr. Wallin left his first practice as an associate dentist to create his own model of dental care based on the “Humanistic Approach” he was taught in school. Dr. Wallin spends numerous hours each year, constantly improving his skills and knowledge as an Aesthetic Dentist, sometimes more than double the required hours of learning achieved by most dentists. Dr. Wallin feels that dentistry is a constantly changing field and expanding his knowledge is the only way to offer his patients the best that our field has to offer. Dr. Wallin has been given the prestigious honor by Phoenix Magazine to be named a Top Dentist every year since 2007, as voted by his colleagues of dentists and dental specialists. He studies regularly with the Arizona Craniomandibular Group to further his understanding of TMJ disorder and facial pain. He has also served in the past as a consultant to the Arizona Dental Board as a clinical evaluator and as an investigative interviewer in patient complaint procedures. Dr. Wallin is known for his clinical competence and ethical integrity and loves being able to play a small part in redefining a new level of patient care among some of the best dentists and dental specialists that you will find right here in the East Valley.
