About Russell J. Crockett, DMD
Doctor Crockett grew up in Arizona and spent much of his childhood exploring Arizona’s beautiful landscapes. He is a graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. After dental school he completed a one-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health through Lutheran Medical Center. It was during this residency that he found a love for prosthodontics and saw the need to provide those with complex cases an opportunity to receive a high level of care. For this reason, he pursued his prosthodontics training at the University of California Los Angeles’s Advanced Prosthodontic specialty training program. As a prosthodontist Dr. Crockett has had three years of extra training after dental school in advanced prosthetics ranging from simple cosmetic cases to advanced full-mouth recontructions. While in residency he spent much of his time learning about the latest in dental technology and 3D dental workflows, for which he won multiple awards at UCLA, and currently consults with dental labs that are eager to learn more about computer guided dental implant surgery. While in residency at UCLA Dr. Crockett was involved in teaching dental students in the clinic about removable prosthodontics and realized the importance of dental education. He is currently an adjunct faculty professor at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health where he oversees clinical cases with the dental students and residents in the Advanced Care Clinic. Dr. Crockett is a member of the American College of Prosthodontics and American Dental Association. He is very passionate about dentistry and understands the life changing impact it can have on people’s lives. Dental conditions can often be complex and debilitating. He is sensitive to the fears and concerns of those he treats and is keen on listening to their needs and helping them gain an understanding of their current condition and which options will provide the best outcomes.
