About Robert Tart, DDS
Dr. Robert Tart, General Dentist at Dr. Gloria Ward’s office, enjoys all aspects of dentistry including dental implants, crowns and bridges, cosmetic dentistry and pre-prosthetic surgery and grafting, as well as IV and oral sedation. He is certified in IV and oral sedation. Originally from Florida, Dr. Tart moved to Kentucky to attend the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, and later to Richmond to complete his residency at Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Hospital. Dr. Tart discovered dentistry after having cosmetic work done when he was a finance student. After that experience, he knew becoming a dentist would allow him to do the two things he enjoys most, working with his hands and connecting with people. Dr. Tart is now accepting patients at Dr. Ward’s office. He emphasizes a tailored and individualized approach to each patient that focuses on the long-term outcomes, meeting patient needs from general dentistry to crowns, bridges or dental implants. Dr. Tart and his wife Dani married in 2019. Their 2-year-old German Shepherd, Quinn, keeps them company when they hike around favorite spots in Richmond.
