About Richard J. Reinitz, DDS
Dr. Reinitz always takes the time to thoroughly discuss all treatment plan options with both new and existing patients in order to assist them in making educated decisions toward optimal oral health. Whether its making care calls to his patients after surgery or restoring beautiful smiles through endodontic treatments, Dr. Reinitz offers comprehensive care in one place, with one appointment. Dental Care of Pearland provides not only local anesthetic, but also oral sedation and Nitrous oxide for comfortable patient experiences. Having over 36 years of experience restoring dental implants, Dr. Reinitz works closely with his oral surgeons to ensure accuracy and precision in dental implant placement to create the ideal outcome each patient desires and deserves. Dr. Reinitz obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland in Biochemistry in 1978. In 1982 he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Howard University and then went on to complete a general residency at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Reinitz annually takes over thirty hours of continuing education (which is nearly three times the legal requirements) which permits him to keep up with the rapid changes in both medicine and dentistry. Dr. Reinitz is happily married to his wife. They have four sons and five beautiful grandchildren. When not caring for his patients, Dr. Reinitz enjoys golf, photography, and most of all, spedning time with his family.
