About Ratna L. Vedullapalli, DDS
Dr. Ratna Vedullapalli (Dr. V) studied dentistry for five years at a leading dental school in India, and earning her bachelor's degree in Dental Surgery. Upon graduation, she provided dental service to the poor and needy in rural India. After over a year of service, Dr. V traveled to the U.S., where she completed her D.D.S. and Advanced Program in Comprehensive and Aesthetic Dentistry from New York University. After working at various dental practices in both Pennsylvania and Connecticut, and co-founding a practice in Waterbury, she decided to settle down in Newtown and start her own practice. She continues to serve her community by participating in outreach programs, such as CT Mission of Mercy that serves free dental care to the local underserved communities. Dr. V successfully completed a complex case of placement of 18 veneers in the AEGD program at NYU College of Dentistry. The case was featured on Spectrum News NY1. She was featured in Guide to America’s Top Dentists by Consumer's Research Council in 2013, 2014, and 2015 consecutively. She was also included in the 2015-2016 edition of The Leading Physicians of the World. Her mission is to deliver distinctive patient care according to their unique needs and is passionate about practicing dentistry.
