About Philip R. Eckman, DDS
Dr. Randy Eckman graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University Pennsylvania with his Biology degree before attending the University of Maryland Dental School, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Randy also served in the US Navy as a Dental Officer from 1981 to 1984. To stay up-to-date of the latest advancements in the field of dentistry, he maintains memberships with numerous professional organizations including the American Dental Association, American Orthodontic Society, Pennsylvania Dental Association, American Association for Functional Orthodontics and the International Association for Orthodontics. Dr. Randy has also received Mastership by the Academy of General Dentistry, which is the highest honor received. In 2015, Dr. Randy was especially recognized by the Academy of General Dentistry for his commitment to lifelong learning and service to dentistry. Dr. Randy Eckman has been involved in athletics since high school. From being part of an Ivy League Champion team at University of Pennsylvania to playing on the All Navy Basketball Team, Dr. Randy carries on his passion for sports. He served on the National AAU Boys Basketball Committee and as Commissioner of the National Championships Wide World of Sports at Disney in 2003.
