About Peter Michaelson, DDS
Since graduating from UCONN Dental School in 1981, I have seen many different methods and models of dental practice. I enjoy discovering each patient's unique situation, wants and needs. The challenge of designing the perfect treatment plan for each patient, utilizing today's materials and methods consistent with proven principals of sound dentistry, is something I enjoy every day. I enjoy travel, movies, music and running...both as a participant and a fan. Sometimes I combine travel and running and I plan to go to Rio to watch the 2016 Olympic track and field competition. I compete in track and road races and was fortunate to win the 2013 Connecticut Masters' Games 800m in my age group. As far as music goes, my tastes are all over the place. I still volunteer from time to time at the University of Hartford as a jazz announcer where I hosted 'Accent on Jazz' for many years.
