About Paula Cohen, DMD
Dr. Cohen was born in Panama City, Panama and spent her younger years traveling the world with her military father. After falling in love with the Gator Nation on a college tour, she pursued her undergraduate degrees in Entomology and Zoology at the University of Florida. She continued her studies at the University of Florida College of Dentistry where she was heavily involved in organized dentistry, even serving as the National Speaker of the House of the American Student Dental Association. After graduation, Dr. Cohen moved to the great state of Texas to complete a two-year residency where she trained extensively in implant dentistry, wisdom teeth removal, IV sedation, gum grafting and other areas of advanced general dentistry. “I couldn’t imagine being anything other than a dentist. I truly love working with my patients to help them achieve the happiest and healthiest smile possible! I’m blessed to serve the San Antonio community and strive to build genuine relationships with all my patients.” In her free time, Dr. Cohen enjoys hiking the hill-country with her husband, playing laser tag with her calico kitten and cheering on her beloved Florida Gators!
