About Paul J. Katz, DDS
A private practitioner for more than three decades, Dr. Katz was most recently recognized as one of the area’s top dentists in Chicago Magazine, honored by his peers for excellence. His dedicated focus on continuing education, spanning numerous hours of clinical coursework at the Center for Advanced Dental Studies, has greatly expanded the services available to patients at the Dental Professionals. In addition to offering restorative and implant dentistry, Dr. Katz treats TMJ sufferers with a variety of techniques to effectively and swiftly relieve jaw and head discomfort. As a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Dr. Katz provides advanced, individually tailored treatments for snoring and sleep apnea. He regularly attends clinical courses with a major emphasis on esthetic dentistry and implants, and is a provider for Invisalign, clear aligners for discreet tooth straightening. Dr. Katz teamed up with his partners to implement the recent renovation of both Dental Professionals locations to highly advanced treatment centers with spa-like amenities that further enhance the patient experience. Outside of work, Dr. Katz enjoys golf, paddle tennis and traveling coast to coast to visit his adult children. Dr. Katz is a member of the American Dental Association and the Chicago Dental Society. He served as a clinical instructor at the University of Illinois Dental School and earned his dental degree from Northwestern University.
