About Oqba Memar, DMD
Dr. Memar is a General Dentist, a Clinical Assistant Professor and Group Leader at University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine as well as a partner in Memar Dental Care. His passion is providing advanced restorative care in treating aesthetic cases as well as full mouth reconstruction. He practiced general dentistry for over four years in Main Line area at Penn Dental Family Practice. Dr. Memar received his D.M.D degree from the prestigious Ivy League University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine with Honors in Clinical Dentistry in 2013. In addition to managing Memar Dental Care facility, Dr. Memar also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor and PCU (Primary Care Unit) Group Leader in the Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences at UPenn, teaching the next generation of dentists. This is Dr. Memar's second practice, after taking care of patients for over ten years in the middle east before coming to the United States. Where he'd graduated with dental degree (B.D.S) in 1998 and went on to pursue post graduate training in Orthodontics, completing that M.Sc degree with Honor in 2001. Dr. Memar lives in Narberth with his wife Meena, and their three children. He is an eucharistic minister at St. Margaret Church. He enjoys soccer, spending time with family and friends as well as traveling.
